Large Daikoku Style Jizai Gake Pot Hook
Jizai gake (adjustable hook) is used to raise and lower pots over the hearth. This style, with its pointed top, alludes to Daikoku's hat, one of the seven lucky gods. Daikoku, who is a farmer's god, and Ebisu, a fisherman's god, are both hearth gods, and in the old days, proper reverence for them meant your pot would never be empty. There is some damage to one of the hanging lugs shown in the last image.
